PROJECTS:

During the electives, me and two other students (Augusto & Kursat) got the opportunity to design our own shoe. We started brainstorming about the concept, design, prints and material we wanted to use. Our high end fashion heels (Levant) are inspired by our heritage and traditional culture from each of the three us. Confidence is the core of the brand. Traditional Chinese dragon and Turkish Carpet are included in our print design. Using old patterns from traditions using on new fabrics to imply on new fashion designs. Made from vegan materials to cut back on environmental issues as well cut on animal-based products. We’ve chosen for an all-transparant look to show our real skin to the world. With the use of the flatbed UV printer, which can print on various materials and objects, we printed our design on PVC material. Bending the sole by heating the crease and polish the heels to get a nice smooth and shiny.
