Designing from playing and intuitive draping on a mannquin with various kinds of garments to make a bold statement. Limited time to create new shapes, volumes, silhouettes and implementing them in the design process by hand drawing and bold shape reserach. My final collection states 'HANG IN THERE', the meaning to continue despite difficulties, opposition or discouragement. During the process, I've learned it's okay to get stuck sometimes. When I look at my drapings, the first thing which comes in mind is a loose hanging knot that is kinda stuck together, but doesn't want to let go. The thing with feeling stuck is that sometimes you don't even know what you need to unstuck or how to continue. But this 'numbness' and 'emptiness' that you are feeling should not stop you from making a change. Even if you don't see the end result yet and have no certain idea where it is exactly that you are going for, it's crucial to start moving. The moulages are manipulated and visual deconstructed, pinned, twisted, and twined together.
